Multifamily lenders provide loans for properties with
five or more units; apartments; low-income housing;
student housing; senior housing; and more.
Hard-money lenders generally give more consideration
to the value of a property/collateral than to debt-service-coverage ratios. LTVs are usually less than
65%. These lenders specialize in unique, hard-to-find
loans and sometimes are known as private, equity or
portfolio lenders. They often can do fast closings.
